Networking & Alliance Overview

As a non-governmental organization whom in every of its works always touches social aspect  puts networking and alliance as an important aspect in organizational development.  We are committed to continue spreading our network with institutions and individuals who has the same concern and vision to promote environmental sustainability.

Since the establishment of this organization, as an institution we had developed links with various institutions at the level of government, private sectors, academic and other non-governmental institutions.   One of our main link is our alliance with the Wildlife Trust, a non governmental organization based in New York, USA.   For years the Wildlife Trust has develop alliance consisting of number of institutions from around the world who has the same commitment to promote institutional building,  environmental conservation and ecosystem health.

Along with program development, many local and international institutions has been working together with us to promote environmental sustainability.  Few or these institutions are UNOCAL Foundation (USA), Whitley Laing Foundation (UK), Ford Motor Company, Coca-Cola Foundation, United National Development Program, SEARCA, The Body Shop Foundation and Chevron Geothermal.

Beside joining alliance and network, Peka Indonesia also actively involved in local community network such as network for environmental education, network for monitoring and evaluation MDGs accomplishment, network for the conservation of Mount Salak Halimun, and teacher network for environmental education in Mount Salak Halimun.

As a non governmental and non profit organization, we believe that developing network has become an important investment for the continuation of our programs and for the sustainability of our organization.
