Termite survey in Pulau Rambut, Pulau Bokor, and Pulau Untung Jawa

We recorded 10 termites species belongs to 6 genera and 3 families (Kalotermitidae, Termitidae, and Rhinotermitidae).  The lowest termite diversity was found in Untung Jawa, 5 species; Rambut island has the highest termite diversity with 9 termite species; and Bokor island, we collected 6 termite species.  Some termite species such as Neotermes sp.1, Prorhinotermes sp.1, Prorhinotermes sp.2, and N. Matangensis were the common species in all islands.  We also found some termites species were only found in certain islands, such as Microcerotermes sp. and Nasutitermes sp. (only recorded in Bokor); and C. travians and C. dudleyi  (only recorded in Rambut).
